The divine names of God

The Divine Names form my body,

My essence forms the Divine Names;

La Ilaha Illah La 

Ishq Allah Ma`bud Allah

The Divine Names

are stars giving birth to all worlds, and

their essence is the luminous intelligence of every existence.

Ya Aq'il

 “When the attributes of darkness lift, light takes its place, and the one with the eye of the soul sees. He recognizes what he sees with the light of the Names of divine attributes. Then he himself is flooded by light and becomes light. These lights are still veils hiding the light of the divine Essence, but the time comes when they too are drawn back, leaving only the light of the divine Essence itself.”

Be Like Birds

Each morning, whether there be
Clear blue skies or the darkest clouds,
Terrifying thunder or raptured stillness,
Shattering rain or a gentle shower,
Freezing ice or a warm sun
 
Every Bird awakens
singing
praises to life
 
They do not look to the world outside
for confirmation,
They feel the Glory of Life within,

and therefore
nothing can stop them
from singing!
 
Each Morning,
May we awaken
like Birds.
