Heart Melt

You are the glorious light of dawn, rising out of darkness; You are the sacred presence in a sea of profanity; You are the generously helping hand, in a land of inconsideration; You are the sun-kissed smile, flashing out from within a miasma of indifference; You are the unity of friendship, banishing loneliness; You are the love, tenderly enfolding sorrow; You are the unyielding peace, slowly healing suffering; You are the power of faith, dissolving fear and self-doubt; You are the knowing, shattering ignorance; You are the unblemished perfection, shattering the illusion; You are the self-realization, emerging from forgetfulness. Who are you? You are my all victorious self.

Whirling faces Hearts a crystal chalice Presence pours forth Oh mystic wine. Love overflowing Senses dissolving Dervishes melt in Mustafa's heart, Embrace eternal, kiss of Allah Lost are we in ecstasy. Veils parting Mystic vision revealing One singer, singing One dervish whirling Removing all but Unity. Joy and suffering Now mingling Enter we Rasul's true home, Healing through Allah's sweet Mercy As out upon the world love flows. Never ending Cradle of compassion Embracing all with Life Divine, Revealing One - Thou am I

Gently a kiss upon the lips of my heart, A scented dawn breeze rising to dry the tears From my broken heart; Nay, not broken, only melted   as wax caught in the heat of separation. Softly I whisper: Beloved are you there? And find the answer in my tears.
